Imagine being on the front lines of the bloodiest battle of World War II unarmed. That's how Hacksaw Ridge opens, following the true story of Desmond Doss, the American army medic who ventured onto the battlefield without a weapon and saved 75 men in Okinawa. The film is directed by Mel Gibson and stars Andrew Garfield as Doss, who became one of the first three conscientious objectors awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 1945.

Follow the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple whose marriage defied community law. For nine years, the Lovings fought for their right to live as a family, an experience that culminated in the landmark Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia in 1967.
