Being "inspired by the ritual and art of Parisian bathing" was enough to make me fall for this, but there's more to Celine's new Haute Parfumerie project comprising luxury body products.

Firstly, there's the fragrance: delicate, sweet and soothing, Céleste (available as a Body Oil, Bath Milk and Solid Soaps as well as a traditional splash Cologne and Travel Spray) cocktails notes of angelica, sweet lemons essence, petitgrain and neroli.

The bath and body products also offer ways to wear a veil of scent, letting it linger on your skin and therefore your clothes, cocooning you. Plus, of course, there's the packaging. Who wouldn't want this elevating their bathroom?

But ultimately, the Bath Milk (my favourite of the range) enhances a restorative ritual from beyond functional to fanciful, soothing the senses while doing so. That's my kind of self-care.
