Claire Danes welcomes her second child with husband Hugh Dancy

Claire Danes has welcomed her second child with husband Hugh Dancy.

A publicist for the couple told Associated Press on Friday that the actress gave birth on Monday in New York.

The A-list pair have been married since 2009 and are already parents to five-year-old son, Cyrus Michael Christopher.

Danes first announced news of her second pregnancy back in April when she appeared as a guest on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show.

The couple were recently spotted at the 72nd Annual Tony Awards on June 10

"I am pregnant. I'm seriously preggo. I'm deep into my second trimester," the 39-year-old revealed.

The Homeland actress wed Dancy back in 2009 after the couple met on the set of 2007 film, Evening.

Danes recently spoke out about their relationship, as she told US Weekly: "Hugh was just the right partner for me. I got very, very lucky. There's only so much credit you can take when it just sort of works, you know?"
