Gabrielle Union Proves an All-Gray Outfit Can Be Anything But Boring
Gray isn’t the first color that comes to mind when you think of vibrant, fresh, and innovative outfits—but maybe Gabrielle Union’s latest look will change that.
To step out in New York City yesterday, the star put a chic, modern twist on businesswear, courtesy of a look pulled straight from Michael Kors’s fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection. The light-gray monochromatic outfit consisted of a long blazer coat layered on top of a knit sweater with a plunging V-neckline and a matching teeny-tiny microskirt. She changed up the palette with her footwear, opting for a pair of earthy-brown satin pumps. To accessorize, Union wore a statement silver choker necklace adorned with a large polished agate plate pendant.

Union pulled a 180 with an outfit swap later in the day. After completing a guest appearance on Good Morning America, she emerged from the stage doors wearing a hot-pink bouclé blazer minidress from Versace. The piece featured a structured hourglass silhouette. She accessorized the ensemble with a gold chain choker necklace and caramel-toned satin slingback pumps.

Fans of Union’s style are well acquainted with the actor’s love of fun silhouettes and unique patterns. For instance, the Bring It On alum attended the GLAAD Media Awards earlier this year with stepdaughter Zaya Wade, and dazzled in a glittering hooded Moschino gown. Multicolored beads arranged in a leaflike pattern covered the dress from head to toe. Meanwhile, Wade embodied prep in a black Miu Miu set composed of a crisp jacket and miniskirt with boxy pockets stitched on the outside.

Offline, she’s probably spending too much time on TikTok, rewatching Emma (the 2020 version, of course), or buying yet another corset.
