Kendall Jenner embraces naked dressing in sheer Gucci dress

Kendall Jenner is no stranger to the naked dress, and she is no longer reserving the sheer dressing trend for the red carpet, either. This weekend, the model stepped out in a head-to-toe nude Gucci look for a dinner she was hosting in Hollywood, and expertly executed her take on elegant naked dressing.

Jenner wore Gucci's nude, one-shouldered, jersey dress, which was sheer enough to reveal Gucci-logo underwear underneath, and she even completed the look with one of our favourite shoe trends of the summer, mesh pumps, which were – of course – also courtesy of Gucci.

What makes her ensemble feel so pulled-together is the tonal look that runs through her entire outfit, a stylist's favourite trick for making an ensemble look sophisticated and expensive. And, although the idea of sheer dressing can seem daunting, Jenner proves that with the right underwear, and the right accessories, a naked dress can actually be an extremely elegant choice.

The model shared some fun pictures of her evening – which was a celebration event for her tequila brand, 818 – to Instagram, where you can see the dress in all its detail, as well as the vintage Gucci Horsebit Chain handbag that she accessorised with (and which she has been pictured with on a number of occasions).
