Mother has taken the step toward sustainability. This week, the denim label launched 60% Mother, a capsule collection that’s 60 percent overstock fabric (hence the name) from past seasons and 40 percent materials found at wholesale vintage recycling plants across Los Angeles. “We are committed to only working with what is available at local rag houses as well as within our own inventory of excess fabric, damages, and overstock,” says Tim Kaeding, Mother’s cofounder and creative director, to BAZAAR.
Naomi Campbell is living proof that some bad habits are hard to break. The inimitable fashion icon, currently celebrating more than a quarter century as one of the industry's most in-demand (and infamous) models, has fought many demons in her 41 years. She's beaten drug addiction, anger issues, and ethical scandals. These days, her personal e-mail bears the following signature: "Love & Light, Naomi." Yet, as we soon discover, one last diva trait still lingers: her trademark tardiness.
As transformative as a spray tan and as addictive as gel manicures, eyelash extensions are one of those life-changing beauty treatments.
To me, an investment in extensions is a saving on mascara (its application and removal I find a chore). But in addition to their routine-streamlining attributes, eyelash extensions can claim much more: an instant wide-eyed appearance – delivering a dose of feeling ‘done’ – the second you clamber out of bed, plus smudge-free eyelids from zero mascara transfer which, in my case, can accumulate throughout the day thanks to my hooded eyelids.
We've all been there before: struggling to look composed as our feet are experiencing their own slow and painful death from standing in high heels for too long. Celebrity stylist Neil J. Rodgers knows this all too well as he's witnessed plenty of his A-list clients struggle to walk an entire red carpet in a pair of killer heels, which is why he decided to find a solution: comfortable (really) but still chic (yes, really) heels.
Nicole Kidman brought her A game to the 95th annual Academy Awards.
The Nine Perfect Strangers star arrived on the 2023 Oscars carpet wearing a custom Armani Privé one-shoulder gown. The dazzling piece, which featured a sultry thigh-high leg slit, was covered head to toe in midnight black sequins. Adorned at one shoulder and at her waist were giant rosettes, which were embellished in sparkling black and silver sequins.
She let the statement dress speak for itself, accessorizing sparingly.
Oh, how the time flies. It feels like it was just yesterday that Paris Hilton announced she was adding “mom” to her long list of titles, with the birth of her son, Phoenix. But it wasn’t yesterday. It was a year ago, which means there was a big milestone to celebrate this week.

Hilton and husband Carter Reum quietly welcomed Phoenix on January 16, 2023, via surrogate. To commemorate their baby boy’s first full trip around the sun, the heiress, pop culture icon, and DJ threw a grand “Sliving Under the Sea”–themed birthday party on Saturday.
Paris Hilton brought the glamor to last night's Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony.
The heiress arrived to the event—which took place at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida—wearing a spectacular bedazzled gown from Area. The mint-green piece vertical cutouts on the bodice, with the cutouts stretching from the neckline to her waist. The sweeping tulip maxi skirt also featured a thigh-high leg slit, which helped to show off her pair of sparkling silver pumps with a metallic toe cap.

In the latest manuever to the mass fashion realm, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman has launched a ready-to-wear line of occasion pieces with JC Penney — the latter of which has recently undergone a style savvy rebranding. Retailing between $70 and $250, Pearl by Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, as the line is being called, is certainly a retail price departure for Marchesa, but not, as Chapman explains, entirely an aesthetic one.
