Reese Witherspoon's Lavender Suit Is Perfect Transition to Summer

Reese Witherspoon was a summer vision at a photo-call for Where the Crawdads Sing in West Hollywood yesterday.

The actress arrived at the event, which was held in a beautiful garden, in a bright lavender-colored pantsuit. She paired the look with a crisp white shirt and matching heels, and kept her accessories simple, wearing only hoop earrings and several rings.

Witherspoon stuck to her usual natural makeup look and wore her hair down in loose waves.

An executive producer on the upcoming film, Witherspoon was seen posing for photos with the film's costars, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Taylor John Smith.

Where the Crawdads Sing is based on Delia Owens's 2018 novel of the same name, which follows a young woman, Kya, who lives in the marshes of North Carolina, and after a series of events, winds up as the main murder suspect in her boyfriend's mysterious death. The film is set to be released next month.

Apart from running her own production company, Witherspoon also helms her own book club, sharing recommendations regularly on her Instagram. Further, she recently wrote a children's book, titled Busy Betty, about a creative, curious little girl who learns the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and individuality.
