イギリスでは2018年に発売されて以来、Boy Browやホリー・ウィロビーお墨付きのマスカラ、Lash Slickなどのヒーローアイテムで瞬く間に頼りになるビューティブランドになったニューヨーク発のグロッシアー（Glossier）。
そんなカルトブランドからは常時、スキンケアやメイクアップの新製品が発表されるため、次はどんな製品が登場するのかいつもワクワクする。先月は初のブロンザー、Solar Paintを発売したばかりだが、今度はレチノール配合のスキンケア製品がローンチされる。
ビタミンA誘導体であるレチノールはもっともパワフルなスキンケア成分の一つとして知られているため、新製品はきっと特別なもののはずだ。
グロッシアーによると、肌を整えてくれる夜用製品であるUniversal Pro-Retinolは、とても働き者だという。肌に栄養を与えながら小ジワやシミ、毛穴、肌の色ムラ、質感の見た目にアプローチしてくれる。
レチノール界では新機軸のレチノールサンフラワレイト（Retinol Sunflowerate）を0.5%配合した植物由来の美容液で、これまでのものより刺激が少ないけれど、時間とともに同様の効果が期待できることがわかっている。
このレチノールサンフラワレイトとさまざまな植物抽出成分が、肌に栄養を与えながら肌全体の見た目をなめらかに整え、レチノール使用後によく見られるダウンタイムを避けることができる。
新しいUniversal Pro-Retinolはすべての肌タイプに合うように作られているという。特に敏感肌の場合、レチノールは炎症や皮膚の剥がれ、乾燥の原因になることがあるので、これは嬉しい。
また、30ポンドと他のレチノール製品と比べてお手頃価格だから、ますます興味津々だ。Universal Pro-Retinolは8月31日に発売される。
